About Mhaismal Hill Station
Perched at approximately 1,000 metres above sea level in the Ajanta mountain range, Mhaismal (also spelled Mahesgaon or Mhaismal) is Aurangabad's closest hill retreat. While not as famous as Maharashtra's big hill stations, Mhaismal more than compensates with its raw, undiscovered charm — sweeping panoramic views, cool breezes, and a sense of peaceful isolation just 45 km from the city.
During monsoon (July–September), the entire plateau explodes with wildflowers and the surrounding valleys turn a deep, vivid green. The view from the main plateau stretches across the flat Marathwada plains — a striking contrast to the dramatic rocky escarpment below.

How to Reach Mhaismal from Aurangabad
